Elevated Heavy Armor Platform 49429

IG-49429-A

Forward deployed Expeditionary Modular Universal Elevated Heavy Armor Platform.  Consisting of two pairs of incline ramp modules (19ft long and 5ft wide) and two pairs of elevated flat modules (19ft long and 5ft wide).  The ramp has the capacity to elevate the full range of US and NATO armor and wheeled vehicles and the capacity to elevate two M1A1 Abrams at the same time (i.e. 93.5 short tons each).  The Ramp shall be constructed of heavy-duty structural steel fabrication with open deck design for traction, visibility and water flow-thru. Hot-dip galvanized finish, with walkways additionally polyester powder coated in safety yellow). Each module max 5.85m x 1.5m x 1.5m (L x W x H) for shipping optimization. Each module shall have a max weight of 5000kgs. Modules  have a bolt free connection assembly and the base of each modular is capable of being lagged (bolted) to ground in fixed positions, or optionally free-standing.  The Ramp includes an elevated side personnel walkway on each side and safety handrail systems.  The Ramp shall include integrated forklift pockets and lifting points for handling by heavy duty forklift or crane.  Has the capability to connect multiple ramp sections together in a bolt free manner to form larger structures.  The ramp deck surface shall be constructed of individual panel assemblies, allowing the deck to be separated from the framework for onsite assembly if required (to reduce ramp section weights for shipping), as well as for repair and replacement of individual sections of no more than 3ft where required.  The weight supporting deck slats will be no less than 10mm (3/8in) thick, and cross reinforced by min 20mm (3/4in) thick solid bar welded at no more than 150mm (6in pitch).  Ramp kit includes integrated elevated personnel walkways and safety handrails at 1.2m (48in) height.  These have the option be bolted to the main ramp assembly where required or not, depending on the usage application for the multi-purpose package.  All parts of the supply are fully hot dip galvanized to EN ISO 1461 (and equivalent ASTM A123) to a minimum thickness of 85 microns.  Any additional hardware affixed to the ramp or mat modules must be either galvanized or stainless steel.  Entire scope is be designed and manufactured BS EN 1090 (CE Marked) as well as equivalent to American National Standard ANSI/AISC 303-16. All steel is minimum S355 grade, non-alloy European standard (EN 10025), or ASTM A572 Grade 50 equivalent.
